Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries washed and dried
  • 8 oz high-quality chocolate dark, milk, or white
  • 1 tsp coconut oil or shortening
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Crushed nuts sprinkles, or freeze-dried raspberries
  • Melted white chocolate for drizzling
  • Edible gold dust or rose petals

Instructions
 

  • Wash the strawberries gently under cool water and pat them completely dry with paper towels to ensure no moisture remains.
  • Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it slowly in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth, or use a double boiler. Stir in the coconut oil for a glossy finish.
  • Hold each strawberry by the stem, dip it into the melted chocolate, let the excess drip off, and place it on parchment paper. Add any desired toppings immediately before the chocolate sets.
  • Allow the chocolate-covered strawberries to set at room temperature for about 15 minutes, or refrigerate for 10 minutes for faster setting.
  • Arrange the strawberries on a plate or in a gift box, ready to serve or gift to your loved ones.

Notes

Dry Strawberries Completely: Moisture prevents chocolate from sticking.
Double Dip: For a thicker chocolate coating, dip twice after the first layer sets.
