Sweet Sourdough Bread

Bake a soft, slightly sweet sourdough loaf with a golden, flaky crust! This recipe uses a bubbly starter, honey (or maple syrup), and optional add-ins like cinnamon or chocolate chips.

Cook Time 50 minutes
Total Time 17 hours

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g active starter
  • 250 g milk
  • 50 g honey
  • 25 g butter
  • 10 g salt
  • 500 g flour

Instructions
 

  • Mix dough.
  • Bulk ferment 4–6 hrs.
  • Shape + cold-proof overnight.
  • Bake at 450°F in Dutch oven.
