One-Pan Sausage & Rice Skillet

Cook the Sausage:
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned 5-7 mins. Remove and set aside.
Sauté the Veggies:
- In the same skillet cook onion and bell pepper until softened (5 mins).
- Stir in garlic paprika, and thyme. Cook 1 more minute.
Cook the Rice:
- Add rice stirring to coat. Pour in broth, return sausage to the pan, and add frozen peas.
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes (no peeking!).
Cheese It Up:
- Fluff rice with a fork season to taste. Sprinkle cheese on top, cover, and let melt.

If rice is too crunchy, add ¼ cup broth and cook 5 more minutes.
