Main Ingredients:

  • 2 –4 croissants stale? Toast them for extra crispiness!
  • 1.5 –2 cups cooked chicken rotisserie, grilled, or even canned in a pinch
  • 1 –2 cups chopped romaine lettuce or spinach/arugula
  • ¼ –½ cup Caesar dressing store-bought or homemade
  • Handful of croutons crushed for an extra crunch
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated or shaved

DIY Caesar Dressing (Optional):

  • 3 tbsp mayo or Greek yogurt for a lighter option
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Optional Add-Ons:

  • 2 slices crispy turkey bacon for extra crunch
  • ½ avocado sliced (for creamy goodness)
  • 2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes for a tangy twist
  • Pickled red onions adds a zesty pop

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

  • Rotisserie Shortcut: Shred chicken with your hands or two forks.
  • Leftover Grilled Chicken: Chop into bite-sized chunks.
  • Canned Chicken: Drain and break apart with a fork.

Toast the Croissants (Optional):

  • Oven: 350°F (175°C) for 3–4 minutes.
  • Skillet: Butter the inside and toast over medium heat for 2 minutes.

Assemble the Sandwich:

  • Spread Caesar dressing on the bottom half of each croissant.
  • Layer romaine lettuce to prevent sogginess.
  • Add shredded chicken evenly over the lettuce.
  • Sprinkle crushed croutons and Parmesan for crunch and flavor.

Customize Your Sandwich:

  • Add bacon, avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, or pickled onions if using.
  • Place the top croissant half and gently press down (no smashing!).

Serve & Enjoy!

  • Slice in half for a café-style look and dig in!
