Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso
This drink combines espresso, brown sugar, and creamy milk for a smooth, rich flavor with a hint of sweetness. The shaken technique gives it a frothy, velvety finish that feels extra fancy! Perfect for mornings or a pick-me-up during the day.
- 2 shots of espresso or ½ cup strong coffee
- 1-2 tablespoons brown sugar adjust to taste
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon optional
- Ice cubes
- ½ cup milk of your choice oat, almond, or dairy
Brew 2 shots of espresso and immediately stir in the brown sugar (and cinnamon if using) while the espresso is hot.
Fill a shaker or jar with ice and pour in the sweetened espresso. Shake it vigorously for 20-30 seconds until frothy.
Pour the shaken espresso into a glass filled with ice.
Slowly top with milk, letting it cascade for that layered look.
