I make these mini cheeseburgers every 4th of July, and they’re always a hit! They’re small, tasty, and easy for everyone to grab at a cookout. Perfect for a fun celebration with family and friends!

- 1 lb ground beef 80% lean
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 mini burger buns or slider buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese quartered (for 12 pieces)
- Toppings: lettuce tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard (optional)
First, I season the ground beef with salt and black pepper, mixing it gently without overworking the meat.
I divide the beef into 12 equal portions and shape each into a small patty about the size of the mini buns.
I heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook each patty for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they’re cooked to your liking.
When the burgers are nearly done, I place a piece of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt for a few seconds.
I assemble each burger with a bun, cheeseburger patty, and any toppings like lettuce, tomato, or pickles.
Serve them hot with a side of ketchup and mustard if desired.
