Refreshing Blueberry Mojito

I love making this refreshing blueberry mojito, especially on hot days. It’s sweet, minty, and so cool. The blueberries make it even better! This is one of my favorite drinks when I just want to relax and enjoy something fruity and fresh.

How to Make My Kids Drink It:

My kids love this drink because it’s sweet, bubbly, and fun. To make them drink it, I sometimes put it in a colorful cup with a fun straw. Adding extra blueberries and a slice of lime on the edge makes it look like a fancy treat, and they always want to try it! You can also let them mash the blueberries themselves, which makes it even more fun for them.

What You Need to Make It:

  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 8-10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 cup club soda or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Extra mint leaves and blueberries for garnish

How to Make It:

  1. First, I mash the blueberries in a glass. I use a spoon or muddler and mash them well so the juice comes out.
  2. Then, I add the mint leaves and sugar to the glass. I mash them together just a little to release the mint’s flavor.
  3. I pour in the lime juice and stir it all up.
  4. After that, I fill the glass with ice and pour in the club soda or sparkling water.
  5. I give it one last quick stir and add extra mint leaves and blueberries to make it look pretty.

Serving and Storage Tips:

  • Serve it right away when it’s cold and bubbly! It’s perfect for a hot day.
  • If you want to store it, keep the drink mix in the fridge (without the ice). When you’re ready to drink it, add ice cubes and the sparkling water.

Tips:

  • If you want a stronger mint flavor, you can add more mint leaves.
  • This drink is so good on a sunny day, and it’s great for parties too!
  • If you don’t like sparkling water, you can try it with regular water or soda for a different twist.
